The crystal structures of (a) NaOEt·2EtOH (space group P2₁/c, view direction [010] and displacement ellipsoids at the 50% probability level) and (b) NaOⁿPr·2ⁿPrOH (space group C2/c, view direction [0 $[\overline 1]$ 0]). Selected symmetry elements are shown. In both structures, there is a 2₁ screw axis in the middle of each chain.
