(b) Stereograms of the Co4Nb2O9 seed and SnO2 domain B show that besides the edge-on [({\bar 1}02)_{{\rm Crn}\hbox{-}{\rm t}}] and [(0{\bar 1}{\bar 1})_{\rm Cst}] planes, another pair of planes [({\bar 1}20)_{{\rm Crn}\hbox{-}{\rm t}}] and [(0{\bar 1}{\bar 1})_{\rm Cst}] lies oblique to the viewing direction (marked by yellow). This pair of planes corresponds to the expected SnO2–Co4Nb2O9 OR.
