A HKLVIEW (Collaborative Computational Project, Number 4, 1994  ) of the pseudo-precession photograph of the diffraction pattern (for l = 3) of the crystals of α-LA. The diffraction pattern indicates an apparent (hexagonal) symmetry. The observed diffraction appears to be normal, but each of the observed intensities contains equal contributions from the two domains. This is an indication of the symptoms of merohedral twinning. |
