Data-collection geometry for 2D crystals. Each lattice line will have a continuously varying amplitude and phase along its Z coordinate. The tilted views sample the lattice lines at different heights in Fourier space. Most of the 3D FT can be determined by combining these sections derived from different tilt views in projection.
