Evolution of the average 1.0 − Corr(Fo, Fc) values for two constant-temperature minimizations (entries 3 and 4 in Table 1[link]) from a 12-­dimensional problem. The sudden drop of the target function near the end of the simulations corresponds to the beginning of the final few thousand cycles of refinement of the best solution encountered during the main length of the minimization.
