Self-rotation function of ECU complexed with ClpC1-NTD. The self-rotation function of ClpC1-NTD–ECU processed in space group P2₁ contains additional orthogonal twofolds, suggesting pseudo (or nearly) orthorhombic symmetry. The presence of threefold noncrystallographic symmetry is noteworthy.
