DNA-binding site. (a) Complex of SaCopG with an 18 bp DNA fragment. (b) Model of VcParD2 (surface representation as in Fig. 3[link]a) in complex with DNA. The SaCopG tetramer was superimposed on two adjacent dimers of VcParD2. The DNA fragment bound to SaCopG fits onto the surface of VcParD2 with the N-terminal β-strands inserted into the major groove of the DNA.
