Each technique offers unique information that is otherwise inaccessible by its individual partner. The data appear as collected and have not been repositioned in silico to overlap. (c) Overlay of (a) and repositioned (b) to extract correlated content. The two nuclei of the cells present are denoted N1 and N2 and a star is used to point out the equivalent areas in the sample across the two modalities in order to aid the correct orientation. Scale bars are 10 µm.
