Patterson map values for SwissFEL data (a) and SACLA data (b) along the direction [0{\hat{\bf a}}+y{\hat{\bf b}}+0{\hat{\bf c}}], where [\bm{\hat{\bf a}},\bm{\hat{\bf b}},\bm{\hat{\bf c}}] are unit vectors aligned with the corresponding unit-cell basis vectors before and after correction of the intensities with α0 = 0.01, α1 = 0.19, α2 = 0.80 (SwissFEL) and α0 = 0.00, α1 = 0.15, α2 = 0.85 (SACLA). The peak height at 0.245b is equivalent to 25% and 18% of the origin peak heights for uncorrected SwissFEL and SACLA data, respectively.
