Analytical size-exclusion chromatography of AscX49–YscY. 200 µl of a 2 mg ml−1 protein solution was loaded onto a Superdex 75 10/300 GL column (Cytiva). The protein eluted as a single peak at the expected molecular weight. Fractions were collected and analyzed via reducing and nonreducing SDS–PAGE. The two bands were allocated to YscY and AscX49. β-ME, β-mercaptoethanol. |
