Figure 4
TLR2TIR-induced MyD88TIR microcrystals at different time points. Small clusters of crystals formed at the early stage of crystallization. After ∼35 min of incubation, ultrathin, weakly crystalline ribbon-like crystals formed, as revealed by the calculated FFT. By ∼40 min, the ribbons grew in thickness and became fully crystalline. Analysis of the calculated FFT indicated the fully grown crystals were oriented along the [−102] zone axis, with consistent d-spacing of the (020) plane throughout crystal growth. The boxed area indicates the portion of the microcrystal used for FFT. |
