Crystal contacts of a TNKS2CAT monomer in the considered crystal form. The crystal structure is PDB entry pdb_00007ojo (Sowa et al., 2025  ). A protein monomer (cyan) is surrounded by seven neighbouring molecules (six roughly in the same plane shown in gray, the seventh one behind not shown for clarity). The D-loop (highlighted in red) is packed against the loop region preceding the β7 strand of a neighbouring molecule, which likely plays a major role in the stabilization of the crystal lattice. The adenosine and nicotinamide subsites of the donor site are labelled ADE and NI, respectively. |
