The crystal structure of the copper(I) compound (C8H20N)[Cu(C4N2S2)(C18H15P)2] consists of discrete [Et4N]+ cations and [Cu(PPh3)2{S2C2(CN)2}]- anions. The Cu atom in the anion is tetrahedrally coordinated by two phosphine ligands and two S atoms from the 2,2-dicyano-1,1-ethylenedithiolate ligand. The average Cu-P and Cu-S distances are 2.278 (5) and 2.423 (5) Å, respectively.
