N,N'-Bis(4-chlorobenzylidene)-2,2'-diaminodiphenyl disulfide

In the title compound, N,N'-bis(4-chlorobenzylidene)sulfanediylbis(2-aniline), C₂₆H₁₈Cl₂N₂S₂, two 2-(4-chlorobenzylideneamino)phenyl sulfide moieties, which can act as tridentate ligands, are joined through their S atoms. The molecule has a trans configuration about the S-S bond. The bond lengths and angles are nearly identical between the two halves of the molecule.
