The crystal structure of cholamide dihydrate (3α,7α,12α-trihydroxy-5β-cholan-24-amide dihydrate, C24H41NO4.2H2O), recrystallized from ethyl acetate by slow evaporation, has been determined. This structure is the first reported crystal structure of cholamide solvated solely with water.
