A 1:1 Adduct of Aquachlorotriphenyltin with 3,4,7,8-Tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline

The aquaorganotin moiety in this adduct, [SnCl(C₆H₅)₃SnCl(H₂O)].C₁₆H₁₆N₂, is linked by hydrogen bonds through its axially bonded water molecule to the substituted 1,10-phenanthroline moiety. The Sn atom shows trans-trigonal bipyramidal coordination, with aqua and chloro ligands in the axial positions.
