O hydrogen bond involving the NH imine H atom and the phenolate O atom. In the crystal structure, the two crystallographically independent molecules are linked by O—H

O hydrogen bonds to create centrosymmetric dimers. These dimers are connected by intermolecular C—H

O hydrogen bonds to form layers.
