Dear Colleague
IUCrJ – 100 papers for 100 years
|
In the International Year of Crystallography (IYCr2014), we have been celebrating 100 years of X-ray crystallography and the Nobel Prize awarded to von Laue in 1914. In 2015, it will be 100 years since the Braggs received the Nobel Prize for the first use of X-rays to determine a crystal
structure.
In 2014, we launched IUCrJ with the aim of getting 100 papers in the first year. This has almost been achieved with more than 80 papers in the pipeline. We now want to build on this success by getting a further 100 papers submitted in 2015.
We are taking another opportunity to contact top authors in crystallography with a special offer for the rest of this year and into 2015. The first 100 articles submitted to IUCrJ using the voucher code below will be published as platinum open access (i.e. there will be no charges for
open-access publication).
Voucher code: dis-63gwUYye619PkvwixPj
So please consider IUCrJ when you are planning your next paper.
Finally, we have listed below some of the articles published already in the journal. These highlight the variety and scope of the journal and show the wide range of topics covered.
We look forward to receiving your submissions.
Best wishes
