(Al, Si) order/disorder phase transition in anorthite. These figures show the (a) equilibrium and (b) kinetic behaviours of anorthite fitted using Landau theory. The phase transition is close to tricritical, with TC ≈ 3475 K (Salje et al., 1993BB108).
