A Merrill–Bassett diamond-anvil cell, mounted on a stable goniometer head on a four-circle κ diffractometer KUMA KM4-CCD during a data collection in the ϕ = 0° and ω-scan mode. To reduce the level of radiation scattered on the diamonds, beryllium plates and gasket, the gap between the DAC parts is shielded with a metal strip; additionally, lead-loaded glass shielding (not shown here) encloses the diffractometer for security reasons.
