Two sections of the three-dimensional potential map of ν-AlCrFe obtained by electron crystallography with the structure superimposed. All atoms are clearly resolved and it is possible to distinguish transition metals (Fe, Cr, strong peaks) from Al (weak peaks). From Zou et al. (2003BB109).
