The twin operation of the Dürer structure is characterized by the horizontal glide mirror [\widehat{h}] in green; it exchanges the green and the red unit cells and leaves invariant the common interface made of the collection of pentagons in grey that are shared by the two structures that are both built with the same pentagons.
