Schematic drawing of the experimental setup. The horizontally polarized synchrotron X-rays were incident on a []-oriented floating-zone (FZ) silicon crystal with a thickness of 10.0 mm such that the six beams are simultaneously strong. The angle of the monochromator was adjusted such that the photon energy of the X-rays was 22.0 keV. However, the practical value of the photon energy was considered to be marginally different from this value. An IP was placed 24 mm behind the crystal. |
