(a) Experimental (T set No. 14) and (b) computer-simulated moiré images when the rear component crystal was forcedly rotated about the y axis towards the opposite side of the front crystal. O image, Si 220 reflection, λ = 0.072 nm. L(+) = 0 and L(-) = 0.2 gf (= 1.96 mN). The brightness in the simulated image (b) was adjusted by dividing the entire field of the image into two partial fields, since it was difficult to suitably adjust it within 256 graduations in the one entire field.
