The diffraction scheme of an X-ray microbeam restricted by slit S₁ of width w₁ and incident on a crystal of thickness l_z. The diffracted wave is restricted by slit S₂, the width of which is w₂. The diffraction intensity is registered by a PSD. Slit S₂ can be displaced along the x axis.
