Same as Fig. 2[link], but for trans-DBPen on Cu(111). The results of the indexing of the oriented crystals are given with respect to the [[1 \overline{1}0]_{\rm Cu}] direction. As opposed to the GIXD data (a), any reflection in the LEED image (b) can be explained by either group of mirror-symmetric unit cells (i.e. either cw or ccw) due to the commensurate epitaxial relation.
