Fringes in (d) are numbered as Bn ([n = 1,2,\ldots]) from xc to xmin, as the phase [\Delta\gamma_{\rm Br}] is zero at xc and becomes large as x decreases. The peak appears at a point x corresponding to [\Delta\gamma_{\rm Br} = \pi(2n-1)] in equation (37)[link].
