The heat map in QT of all two-dimensional lattices extracted from 870 000+ crystal structures in the CSD. The colour of each pixel indicates (on the logarithmic scale) the number of lattices whose projected invariant $[{\rm PI}(\Lambda)]$ = (x,y) = $[(\bar{r}_{02}-\bar{r}_{01},3\bar{r}_{12})]$ belongs to this pixel. The darkest pixels represent rectangular lattices on the bottom edge of QT.
