X-ray diffraction patterns of BaxFe2xTi8−2xO16 with x = 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4. For x ≥ 1.2 the symmetry is monoclinic with increasing degree of desymmetrization. In the tetragonal case (x = 1.1) the reflections 310 and 130 coincide, but their intensities are different (I130 > I310) as can be seen in the cases with x ≥ 1.2.
