(c) Mean lattice parameter error distribution, computed using a permutation-aware metric that accounts for the cubic symmetry equivalence of a, b and c. Both methods recover position and orientation with comparable accuracy, but the iterative approach achieves 190× better lattice parameter precision (μ = 0.001% versus 0.190%).
