Typical one-side polished NSAT sample prepared from a Czochralski grown crystal with a starting composition of Nd_0.396Sr_0.604Al_0.698Ta_0.302O₃. The composition of the grown crystal is expected to contain a few mol% more Nd than the melt from which it was grown.
