Coordination around the lanthanum ion, including the numbering scheme and anisotropic displacement ellipsoids. Note the strong O24—H24⋯O21iv hydrogen bond. Only the unique chains have been labelled completely. The symmetry operations are as in Table 1[link]. The view is along the b axis. Full displacement ellipsoids are used for the fully deprotonated ligand L, while open ellipsoids are used for HL. Ellipsoids are drawn at the 50% probability level.
