A polyhedral representation of (I[link]), shown down [100]. The polyhedra are chains of edge-shared NdO8(H2O) tricapped trigonal prisms and the black lines are the linking sebacic acid backbones. The unit cell of (I[link]) is highlighted in the center. A framework is realised when parallel chains of polyhedra are crosslinked by the sebacic acid ligands.
