The hydrogen bonding in (I)[link]. The mol­ecules form R22(8) dimers via pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and these are in turn linked via four sets of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form R64(28) motifs which, together with the dimers, create pleated layers. Hydrogen bonds are represented by dashed lines.
