A superposition of the mol­ecular conformation of the granisetron mol­ecules of (I)[link], (II)[link] and an analogous compound, (III) (Fludzinski et al., 1987BB7). The overlay was made by making a least-squares fit through the indazole ring system of (I)[link]. R.m.s. deviations (Å) are as follows: (II)[link], 0.062; (III), 0.016. H atoms have been omitted for clarity.
