Hydrogen-bond inter­actions in (I)[link] (dashed lines). The thin bond is to atom H5W, the minor disorder component. Terephthalic acid mol­ecules lie on centres of symmetry at ([{1 \over 2}], [{1 \over 2}], [{1 \over 2}]) for the mol­ecule involving atom O1 and at ([{1 \over 2}], [{1 \over 2}], −[{1 \over 2}]) for the unlabelled mol­ecule at the bottom.
