A view of the hydrogen-bonded three-dimensional network of (I)[link], along [001] (with the unit cell). The carbon skeleton is represented as a stick model in black, and H (light grey), N (blue), O (red) and I (green) atoms are shown as spheres of arbitrary size. C-bound H atoms have been omitted for clarity, except for H2, H4 and H14, where some C—H⋯O, C—H⋯I and C—H⋯OH2 contacts are observed. Hydrogen bonds are represented by thin solid lines of the following colours: yellow for intra­molecular O—H⋯O, light green for iodide binding, light blue for intra-chain inter­actions of R22(10) rings, and lilac for inter-chain and inter-layer inter­actions.
