(a) The polyhedral configuration of the title cubic garnet structure. (b) Part of the vanadate garnet structure. (Ca,Na), Cd and V atoms are located in dodeca­hedral, octa­hedral and tetra­hedral environments, respectively, coordinated by O atoms. The crystallographically equivalent positions of the O atoms are numbered according to Nakatsuka et al. (2004BB13BB12a,b). Thermal motions of the atoms are drawn as ellipsoids of 80% probability (VESTA; Momma & Izumi, 2008BB10).
