The interface parameters for chain A of 1ber calculated by the Protein–Protein Interaction Server. The table shows that protomer A of the CAP dimer buries 1529 Å2 of accessible surface area in the dimer interface, forms three intermolecular hydrogen bonds with protomer B, and that the interface between the two protomers has a gap volume index of 2.6. All these values are close to the means of the interface parameter distributions observed in a non-homologous data set of homodimeric structures.
