The structure of the central H7 helix has changed from that in (a) and the changes are highlighted in blue. (c) For comparison, the structure of BsFtsZ with GDP (PDB entry 2rhl ) is shown in cyan, except for the H7 helix (residues 179–202), which is shown in blue. GDP is represented as grey sticks.
