Figure 1 Thermal ellipsoid plot (Barbour, 2001) of the two independent mol­ecules of SnCl(CH3)(C6H5)(C10H8NO) at the 70% probability level. Hydrogen atoms are drawn as spheres of arbitrary radius. The Cl2 atom is 3.595 (1) Å from Sn1, and it opens the C–Sn–C angle to 137.69 (8) °.
