Figure 1 ORTEP view of the molecular structure of the title compound. Thermal ellipsoids are drawn at 30% probability level. The acidic H atom is disordered over N2 and N2ⁱ (i= −x + $[{1\over 2}]$ , −y + $[{1\over 2}]$ , −z + 1) with occupancy factor 0.5. The chloride anion also has occupancy factor 1/2, as it lies on C₂ axes.
