Figure 1 Ball-and-stick model of one formula unit in the crystal structure of di-tert-butyl­tin(IV) oxalate with the atomic numbering scheme used. With the exception of the hydrogen atoms, which are shown as spheres of arbitrary radius, all other atoms are drawn as thermal displacement ellipsoids of 50% probability. The hydrogen atoms of methyl groups C12 and C23 are disordered with respect to the mirror plane. The black ball indicates the centre of symmetry.
