N—H⋯O hydrogen-bonded frameworks formed by structural analogues of the title compound: (a) F128[424.64-bcu] structure of trans-[Pt(NH3)2(NO2)2] and (b) F126[412.63-pcu] structure of trans-[Pd(NH3)2(NO2)2].
