A projection of the crystal structure of Li₃Ga(BO₃)₂ along the a axis. Infinite [Ga₂(BO₃)₄]⁶⁻ chains are linked together by sheets of Li atoms in tetrahedral voids. GaO₄ tetrahedra are light green, LiO₄ tetrahedra are light gray, and BO₃ triangles are blue–grey. Corner O atoms have been omitted for clarity.
