Mol­ecular packing in the crystal of (I)[link]: (a) one-dimensional chain whereby tapes sustained by amide-N—H⋯O(carbon­yl) hydrogen bonds and ten-membered {⋯HNC2O}2 synthons are connected, via water-O—H⋯N(pyrid­yl) hydrogen bonds, by helical chains of hydrogen-bonded water mol­ecules sustained by water-O—H⋯O(water) hydrogen bonds and (b) a view of the unit-cell contents in projection down the b axis, highlighting the stacking of layers. The amide-N—H⋯O(carbon­yl) hydrogen bonds are shown as blue dashed lines and hydrogen bonds involving the water mol­ecules, by orange dashed lines. The C—H⋯O and C—H⋯π inter­actions are shown as green and purple dashed lines, respectively.
