The crystal structure of (NH₄)M(HSO₄)(SO₄)(H₂O)₂ compounds at 296 K (data from M = Co) in a projection along [ $[\overline{1}]$ 00]. Very strong hydrogen bonds between disordered sulfate/hydrogen sulfate groups are given in red, medium-strong to weak hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules in yellow and those involving the disordered ammonium cations in green. Displacement ellipsoids are drawn at the 74% probability level; H atoms are displayed with arbitrary radius.
