GlCDK (PBD entry 3gc0 ) superposed with human CDK2 (PDB entry 1hcl ; Schulze-Gahmen et al., 1996BB27). The Giardia protein is depicted in the same colours as in Fig. 1[link]. CDK2 is depicted with cyan β-strands, red α-helices and blue loops. The insert depicts the different conformations of the activation loop in the two structures. Most of the activation loop is disordered in GlCDK.
