Thermal stability of BGLPf-WT (WT), BGLPf-M3 (M3) and BGLPf-M6ΔC (M6ΔC). DSC results are shown as excess heat capacity, Cp (kcal K−1 mol−1), versus temperature (°C) profiles. Proteins (1.0 mg ml−1) were dissolved in 50 mM sodium phosphate buffer pH 7.0. The Tm values of BGLPf-WT, BGLPf-M3 and BGLPf-M6DC were estimated as 109.5, 102.0 and 74.5°C, respectively.
