Polar plots of torsion angle τ1 (Table 9[link]) determined from diffraction data measured to 1.5–3 Å resolution. The angle θ is +60° from the horizontal at 0°. Thus, the histogram on the 1.5 Å plot falls between +60° and +90°. In the refined structure, τ1 = +72.8°. The `contour interval' is the spacing (in number of structures) between each dotted line. Thus, for example, in the 1.5 Å plot, the maximum histogram value is 35.
